Account Deletion

How to close access to Community Connect Australia and what happens to retained records.

Updated 8 September 2026

Close your account in the app

  1. Sign in to Community Connect Australia.
  2. Open Menu → My Profile.
  3. Select Delete My Account.
  4. Review the warning and available event-visibility choice.
  5. Confirm using the displayed account-verification process.
This removes access. You will lose sign-in access, role permissions and the ability to manage associated records unless the account is restored through an authorised process.

Archive-first retention

Account deletion disables authentication and removes public/account access while marking the profile and calendar subscription inactive. It does not erase historical events, businesses, promotions, messages, reports, moderation decisions or audit records. These are retained in restricted archives for safety, restoration, dispute handling and repeat-submission eligibility review.

Public projections are removed when the underlying record is archived or marked deleted. Events may remain active until expiry or be made inactive immediately where the app offers that choice. Authorised Super Admins can access restricted archives for legitimate administrative purposes.

YouTube broadcasts and third parties

Closing an app account or ending a stream does not automatically erase a video retained by YouTube or information already processed by another provider. To request a broadcast review, email its event date, title and YouTube link to support@siza.info.

Request help by email

Email support@siza.info with the subject Account Deletion Request. Include the mobile number or email associated with the account and enough information to verify ownership. Do not send a verification code or password.

If you are the only active Super Admin, another Super Admin must be appointed before your access can be closed so the service remains manageable.
