By accessing or using Community Connect Australia as a guest or signed-in user, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Service and Operator

Community Connect Australia is operated by Sajjad Zaheer in New South Wales, Australia. SIZA Apps is the product and initiative name. It is available as a website, PWA and store-distributed app for supported devices. It contains the Community Events Australia and Community Businesses Australia experiences.

Website: siza.info
Legal and support contact: support@siza.info

2. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account independently.
  • Login uses a verified Australian mobile number. You must control the number used for verification.
  • You must provide accurate profile information and keep it current.
  • You must not share verification codes or permit unauthorised use of your account.
  • Former Google or Microsoft profile information may be migrated after phone verification and email matching.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

3. Guest Access

Guests may browse and search events, view calendars and stream listings, share permitted event information, and access installation information. Guest access is restricted. In particular, guests do not receive full private-event addresses, private host phone numbers or clickable stream links.

4. Event Submissions

  • You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and appropriateness of events you submit.
  • You must have permission to publish another person's name, phone number, email, address, image or event information.
  • If submitting on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
  • Mandatory dates, times and addresses must be complete and accurate. If a prayer-based time is selected, the selected address must include saved map coordinates so the variable time can be calculated.
  • Posters and other uploaded material must be owned by you or used with permission.
  • Optional Notes are visible on event cards and included in app-generated share messages. Do not enter confidential information in Notes.
  • Recurring events, copied events and ownership transfers remain subject to these responsibilities.

5. Event Privacy and Sharing

Registered users can view full event details in the app. Guests can see centre venue details, but private events are limited to suburb-level location and exclude the host phone. When a normal user shares another person's private event, the generated message excludes the full address and host phone. Event owners, Admins and Super Admins may access and share full details.

No privacy label can prevent a recipient from further sharing information they lawfully receive. Hosts should only publish information suitable for the intended audience.

6. Live Streaming

  • Hosts can stream through the app or connect an eligible YouTube live URL from another device.
  • Streams may be Public or Private. Private streaming uses YouTube unlisted/link-only visibility; it does not mean encrypted or fully private, and anyone with the YouTube link may view it.
  • You must have authority to record and broadcast the event, speakers, attendees, music, images and other content.
  • You are responsible for obtaining any required notices or consent from people who may be recorded.
  • You must not broadcast illegal, harmful, abusive, private, copyrighted or otherwise unauthorised material.
  • YouTube may record and retain broadcasts. Ending a stream in the app does not necessarily remove its recording from YouTube.
  • We may stop, disconnect or remove access to a stream that creates legal, safety, privacy or operational risk.

When a private stream goes live, the host may receive the private YouTube link by email. The host is responsible for deciding who receives that link.

7. Stream Listings

The app may list metadata for broadcasts created or connected through the app. Public streams can appear in the streamed-videos list and on event cards while live. Private streams are intended for host-controlled sharing and should not appear as public app stream links. Guests can view listing information without active links. Videos removed or unavailable on YouTube may disappear after the app checks availability.

8. AI-Assisted Search

AI-assisted search may generate summaries or answers based on event information. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate and is not a substitute for confirmation with the event host. You must not submit unlawful, abusive or confidential content in AI prompts.

Use the Report AI Response feature to report inappropriate, unsafe, misleading or incorrect output. Reports may be reviewed by the operator. Repeated misuse of AI or reporting tools may result in restricted access.

9. Notifications and Communications

Depending on your settings and role, the app may send event reminders, push notifications, live alerts, community or directory updates, administrator alerts and operational reminders. AWS SES email is sent from support@siza.info, and replies are directed to the same address. You can manage available email preferences in Profile and device permissions in system settings. Essential account, safety or service messages may still be sent where necessary.

10. Business Directory

Community Businesses Australia is a directory only. Users must independently verify a business's identity, ownership, ABN, licences, qualifications, insurance, pricing, suitability, safety and legal compliance before engaging it. Where supplied, an ABN may be checked against the Australian Business Register. An “ABN Verified” status means only that ABN status/name information was checked at the recorded time and is not an endorsement.

Business submitters confirm authority, accuracy, permission to publish supplied contact details and images, and consent from a named community referrer. Public listings use a privacy-sanitised projection. Sponsored or promoted placement must be labelled and does not constitute endorsement. Listing and promotion decisions remain subject to the Directory Listing and Operational Rules.

11. Roles, Moderation and Administration

Users may be assigned User, Admin or Super Admin roles. Admins may manage events and access full event details for moderation and support. Super Admins may manage roles and users. We may correct, hide, archive, transfer or remove content, end streams, restrict accounts or ban users where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or protect the service.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Submit false, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, illegal or harmful content.
  • Publish another person's private information without permission.
  • Impersonate a person or organisation or falsely claim authority.
  • Harass users, interfere with events or misuse contact information.
  • Attempt unauthorised access, bypass privacy controls, scrape protected data or disrupt the service.
  • Upload malware or exploit app, Firebase, YouTube, AI or notification systems.
  • Use the service commercially without prior written permission.

13. Ownership and Licence

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Community Connect Australia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display, transmit, share, archive and administer that content as reasonably necessary to operate the service and its features. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant this licence.

14. Archived and Recurring Events

Past events may be moved from the active collection to an administrator-only archive rather than immediately deleted. Recurring events may create multiple individual event records from one rule, and Admins may edit or deactivate an entire recurring series where required. Stream metadata, reports and operational records may also be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Account Deletion

You can delete your account through Profile. Deletion disables access and archives the account rather than erasing its records. Events, businesses, promotions, moderation decisions and audit history are retained; public copies are removed when a record is archived or marked deleted. Super Admins may inspect archived records, restore eligible records and review whether a previously removed business may be listed again. The only active Super Admin must appoint another Super Admin before deleting their account. See Account Deletion.

16. Third-Party Services

The service relies on Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Maps, YouTube, Anthropic, AWS SES and app-store platforms. Their availability and separate terms and privacy policies apply. We do not control third-party outages, account restrictions, mapping results, AI output, email delivery filtering or YouTube retention.

17. Availability and Event Accuracy

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. Events are user-submitted and should be verified with the host. Hijri dates may vary with moon sighting and administrative calendar adjustments. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, stream quality, notification delivery, location accuracy or error-free information.

18. Liability and Consumer Rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from user-submitted information, attendance at an event, shared content, AI output, streaming, notifications or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

19. Changes, Governing Law and Contact

We may update these Terms when the service changes. The latest version and effective date will appear here. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
